Anything Can Happen Friday | Truro Trend

Hello Beauties,

This week in Truro it is fashion week and on Wednesday I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the main event at the Cathedral called 'Truro Trend'.

{Playsuit - New Look, Belt - Vintage, Lipstick - Rimmel 107}

The catwalk featured top brands like New Look, East, United Colours of Benetton, Bishop Phillpott, Jaeger, Moss and local boutiques Magpie & Fox, Enjoy Clothing, Vanilla and The Little Boutique. All the brands we're featuring their Autumn/Winter ranges, and the show was split into two sections. In the first section the brands showcased their casual A/W pieces, which included lots of layering, scarves, tailored jackets, loose fitting blouses and ankle boots. In the second section of the show it was all about the glamour, Christmas parties and just a bit of girly fun! We saw tailored dresses, fun playsuits, sparkly shoes and faux fur gilets. It was AMAZING!

The top 3 brands I was most looking forward to see at fashion week were.. New Look, as it's one of my favourite shops on the highstreet and I've really been loving what I have seen from their new ranges so far, so it was great to see more of that and to see them on people as apposed to online or on a hanger.

I was also really looking forward to see Magpie & Fox. It's been my mission for a while to pop in and see what kind of clothes they do but, as I don't go down that side of the highstreet often I forget that it's there but, I was really surprised by what went down the catwalk. I thought from what I had seen of Facebook and Instagram that they were somewhere in between H&M and Zara, they offered similar style but, with a designer feel, as they are home to lots of different unique clothing brands, which I will go into depth in a later blog post - as by the time you're reading this I'll be attending their fashion week party and will be getting ready to give you guys the full scoop on what went down. Here's a snippet from the show!

Another brand I was looking forward to see were.. The Little Boutique. Again, this has been another shop I've been meaning to go into but, have never had the chance! They're clothes were soo adorable and can totally compete with the highsteet, a lot of the styles were similar to things I've already seen in magazines and they're pieces are bang on trend! They have a very youthful, cute, feel but, with  a bit of an edge and plenty of confidence. I'm in love and can't wait to get my hands on the pieces straight off of the catwalk!

After watching the show, I definitely felt like I needed to go shopping and update my wardrobe immediately! It really put me in the mood for Autumn/Winter fashions, which you guys already know I'm obsessed with and luckily in my little goody bag, I managed to grab a few vouchers to be used over fashion week, so I'll update you with what I bought on 'What I Bought Wednesday' (obviously), I can't wait to share with you all the little things I got over the week.

You guys know me, I never leave the house without my camera, and of course I vlogged throughout the whole event and that video should be up on my YouTube channel by the end of next week, but bare with me on that one as next week I'm working night shifts, so my schedule is going to be all over the place but I'll update you as the week goes on; But for now enjoy some little sneak peak pictures of what's to come...
