My Subscriptions.. Hey Estrid!

I am an absolute sucker for a subscription and a tik tok ad, put the two together and what do you have.. hey, Estrid!

I've seen so many people talk about the Estrid razors and I had to try them out for myself. Prior to this I used Venus my whole life and it was a brand that I stuck to through and through. Over the years through prices have slowly crept up and the quality differs so much between different blades. I was never fully satisfied and always found myself using more that 1 razor at a time for different purposes. This Estrid razor has honestly put them to shame and now it's the only one I use.

To start off it's super affordable with the starter kit starting at £7.95. This includes the razor, 2 blades and a little holder you can pop on the wall. I got mine in the shade bloom and I also got the case (£5.95) which is perfect for travel. How it works is you subscribe and get 4 blades delivered to you every other month at the cost of £9.95, which is really good for 4 blades. However if you feel your blades still have a little more life left in them, you can skip the month or change your settings to get them how little or often as you need them.

After using estrid it leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. There's 4 individual blades that make up 1, it's perfect for a close shave and lasts a long time in between shaves. I use to shave my legs once a week but with Estrid I can get away with a little bit longer than that.

Rating Rare Beauty ♡

Alike many others I was ecstatic to hear that Rare Beauty was launching in the UK back along on February 1st. Prior to the launch I was reading up on other reviews similar to this one to see which products would work best for me. Here's what I got..

My first purchase consisted of the soft pinch liquid blush in the shade 'joy'. I was looking for a blush with peachy undertones, all of my current ones are pink. The pigmentation on the blush is insane and this bottle will honestly last me a very long time! It blends perfectly with my foundation and gives off the perfect peachy summer glow.

Next up is the brow harmony pencil and gel. Prior to my order I was a huge fan of the Fenty brow MVP but one day the led snapped and completely fell apart.. tragically I was standing over a sink when it happened and I watched the led fall down the drain 😭 I'm sorry Ri Ri but this new Rare Beauty one had to take it's place. Again the pigmentation is incredible! I find myself often using the brow mascara on a daily basis and if I want a stronger brow I will use both the mascara and the pomade. I do feel I should have gone a lighter shade in the colour. The colour I bought was 'cool brown' but overall very happy with this.

Now the most talked about product from Rare Beauty would have to be, the liquid touch brightening concealer in the shade 120c. I've seen so many people use this concealer and I've seen how far the product goes. It's honestly so worth the hype! A couple of dots can cover your whole face and is perfect for those no make up, make up days. Unfortunately again I do think I bought this in the wrong shade 🤦‍♀️ this is much much lighter than my skin tone and I thought I was very pale. It just goes to show how inclusive the range is and that there is a perfect shade for everyone.

25th April a new product was launched at Space NK in the UK which was the highly anticipated positive light tinted moisturizer with SPF. Just in time for summer! This tinted moisturizer is super lightweight and feels like your wearing nothing at all. I like that you can build up the coverage with this if you wanted too and it works incredibly well with the rest of the Rare Beauty collection.

This is a look I put together using all of these products. This look is perfect for summer and truly imbraces all of my qualities. I'm honestly super impressed with this range! Prices are affordable compared to other beauty brands and the quality is insane. I can't wait to try out more products from Rare Beauty ♡

Trying Out Primark Make-Up | N U D E S

When I heard the incredible reviews of the new Primark nude range, I knew I just had to try it out for myself! The nude range is a great dupe for the KKW range with Kylie Cosmetics and includes all the essentials from contour kits, to lip products, brushes and eye shadow palettes. Here's what I bought..

'Highlight and Contour Kit £8'

'Eye Shadow Palette £6'

'Lip Kit £3'

After trying these products out for myself I can honestly say they're amazing! The eye shadow palette is super pigmented, there's no fall out and the color lasts all day long. The cream highlight and contour sticks glide onto the skin perfectly and blend out super easy with the contour brush, which has a sponge on one side and a flat brush on the other side. I'm someone who doesn't normally prefer cream contour as it can sometimes look cakey but, these cream sticks look so natural and dewy, I'd highly recommend them. And finally the lipkit, when you first apply the liquid lipstick it come across quite runny, so the kit is perfect as it comes with a lip liner and I wouldn't use the lipstick without it otherwise it'll just continue to run. It takes a couple minutes for the product to dry matte and when it does the color is just amazing and it almost feels like your not wearing lipstick as it feels light on the lips.

Overall, for what these products are and for the price of them you really can't go wrong! They're affordable and they work! if any of you have tried these products out before let me know what you thought of them down in the comments. Here's my finished look of using all of these products together..

Anything Can Happen Friday | NYE Make-Up Inspiration with Bourjois

Bourjois is one of my favorite make-up brands, it's an affordable French inspired brand, that you can get at most local drug stores. Using the following products, I put together a New Years Eve inspired make-up look.

I started off by applying the 'Healthy Mix' foundation in the shade 02. I think this is my forth bottle of this foundation, it's one of my absolute favorites! It gives a full, clean, even coverage and leaves your skin looking naturally dewy. To go hand in hand with this, I used the 'Healthy Mix' concealer in the shade 01. Whenever I use concealer I always go a shade lighter, to give a natural brighten for under the eyes and I put a little bit on my t-zone too. For my contour, I used this 2 in 1 contour and highlight bronzer in the shade 55.

Now onto my eyes, to achieve this look I used 3 products. I started off using this Bourjois quad, in the shade 01 'Grey & Night'. In the corner of my eyes I used the white eye shadow and then blended that out into the lighter grey color and the used the dark grey color in my crease. I then applied the 'Khol & Contour' eyeliner in the shade 71 'Ultra Black' in my waterline and to top the look off I used the 'Volume Reveal' mascara. This is a brilliant mascara, it gives the illusion of longer, thinner and natural eyelashes.

Then to complete this look, I thought I'd do a natural lip to make this look, look a little more sultry. I started off by applying lip liner in the shade 08 'Corail aie aie'. Then to top it off, I used the brand new Rouge Velvet lipstick in the shade 01 'Hey Nude!'. I love this new lipstick range from Bourjois, they're super long-lasting and when you apply them they do feel quite satin but, they do dry nude and look fabulous on!

Here's my completed look! If any of you have tried the Bourjois brand, let me know what you think of them down in the comments and let me know which products you'd love to see me try out next!

What I Bought Wednesday | Nip + Fab Products

Over my birthday weekend I popped into my local Superdrug store to treat myself to some new make-up. Nip + Fab recently brought out they're own make-up range which I've been dying to try out! So I thought what a perfect opportunity to spend some birthday money on their brand new range. I opted for 3 palettes which were on a 3 for 2 offer, I got a contour, blush and eyeshadow palette and with every 3 for 2 you got an exclusive lip kit, this is what I bought..

I put all of these products together and came up with this natural everyday make-up look. On my eyelids I've used the shades - Monroe, camel, cleopatra, heat and duchess. I love the shade 'duchess' it's a beautiful deep purple shade. For my contour I opted for the dark palette as I was fond for the shades - Soft honey and sunset. I also used the shade 'sugar' for a natural highlight. For my cheeks, I used the blush palette in the shade 'velvet'. And finally I used the matte liquid lipstick in the shade 'pink lemonade', after trying them I'm a massive fan of their liquid lipsticks and if you haven't tried any of the Nip + Fab range, I suggest this is the first thing you try out! I love this natural everyday look.

Let me know in the comments if you've tried out any of the brand new Nip + Fab range and what items you would recommend I try out next.

**REVIEW** Urban Decay Heat Palette

After months of anticipation and pre-orders, the Urban Decay 'Heat' palette has landed and it wasn't a disappointment! Just like all of the other UD palettes this one is high in pigment and contains a mixture of shimmer and matte shades. The colors in this palette are a different take from what other brands have been doing, they've gone for reds, burgundy, orange and a few neutral shades in there too. The palette was part of their summer collection and launched early August but, I think these tones can be pretty diverse and will be perfect for the Autumn season. Check it out..

Along with the 'Heat' palette Urban Decay also released a few other exclusive lines to compliment the palette. They released a few different shades of clubbing eyeliner and 2 shimmery lipsticks, I got mine in the shade 'Scorched'. Here's my finished look using all the products mentioned in this post.

This has got to be one of my favorite pallets that I own and if you haven't tried it out already then head down to your local Urban Decay and check it out for yourself!

e.l.f Cosmetics | First Impressions **REVIEW**

e.l.f. Cosmetics is one of the newest brands to enter Superdrug stores and after all the hype I heard from the success the range had in the U.S. I couldn't wait to try it out for myself! e.l.f stands for eyes, lips and face and is a cruelty free make-up brand, sold in more than 17 countries, the brand originated in the big, bright and beautiful New York. With prices starting at only £3, it's safe to say elf is an affordable make-up brand, sure to make it's way into you hearts very soon! These are the products I had my eye on to try out first!

elf had such a wide range of primers to try out from hydration to colour correction but, I went for the illuminating face primer. If you guys aren't too sure what a primer is then let me tell you. Primers are something you put on your face before you apply your foundation, it helps to smooth out and blur pores, it creates a smooth base before you apply your foundation and it helps to keep your make-up in place throughout the day. When you first apply this primer there's a slight tint, which is a yellow colour but don't panic because once it's all rubbed in, you won't be able to notice the tint. It definitely has a shimmer to it, perfect for festival season and will give your highlighter a day off and it's only £7.50!

During the summer I normally have really oily and greasy skin and with that comes breakouts (no this isn't a proactive advert), this year I started my breakout treatments early, so when the temperature started to rise my skin wasn't affected in the slightest. While my skin has been in such good condition I thought I'd reward my skin and lay off the foundation and instead swap it for this alternative. The elf foundation serum, which has an spf 25 in it. This product has been a skin saviour! It keeps my skin hydrated and protected in the sun, it's a very watery based product, it gives a light an even finish and doesn't feel heavy on the skin and retailing at £9!

I have a love hate relationship with eyeliner... I'd do anything to speed up the process of applying eyeliner in the morning and I think I've just found the trick. I've been seeing a lot of beauty vloggers using tape to apply their eyeliner and OMG it's the best piece of beauty advice I could ever offer anyone now! You apply the tape to the very bottom corner of you lash and point it in the direction of the end of your eyebrow, you don't have to put tape all the way to your eye brow just keep it in line. Then using this elf black intense liquid eyeliner start on the edges inwards and the results are just breath taking and all in one simple stroke. This eyeliner was only £4.50, for that price you should pick it up and try it out for yourself!

And finally the last product in this haul, elf's matte lip colour in natural. Unlike a lot of matte lipsticks this one is in a twist up chubby pencil form. I wore this lipstick the other day when I went to lunch with friends, after I'd eaten the lipstick was still on my lips, it hadn't budged at all. That's how you know it's a good long lasting lipstick, for only £4.50 too!

Here's what all of the products look like together on. I could definitely get use to doing this look more often. It's so natural and simple.. could this be a new version of me? Who knows! I hope you guys liked this post, leave a comment below if you've tried out any elf products and what you thought of them! Have a nice day!

Primark Mermaid Range From £1

Some people have said that I have some sort of a weird mermaid fetish.. and after 1 shopping trip in Primark I can see why. Primark's latest beauty range has a ton of mermaid inspired products, there's more to it than the Instagram mermaid make-up brushes.. there's whosits and whatsits galore!

The range starts at only £1 with this twin pack tweezers set. Primark definitely nailed the colors for this range I love the shimmery blues tone. All at Mermazing prices right!

I always wear these sleep masks to bed or when I'm travelling and as mine is getting a bit grubby, I'm going to trade it in for this 'Mermazing' mask at only £1.50! When it comes to being a mermaid it's all about the hair, add a touch of glitter to your roots with this twin glitter hair pack, it's also perfect for the festival season for only £3!

To complete your mermaid look, you'll need some scales. This pack of transfer metallic tattoos are all of your mermaid realness goals, with scales and tribal patterns, there also this stunning holographic effect which is so hot right now! Want to add a bit of sparkle? These gems are perfect for any look and whatever the occasion, from night out with the girls to pride..both are priced at £1.50!

And last but not least the brushes that everyone has been talking about! Primarks own Mermaid make-up brushes.. where do I start? Theses colors are all of my favorites in one and I love the metallic finish. The brushes are excellent quality and super super soft. The tiny tails on the end of the brushes are so cute and stand up perfectly in your make-up brush holder. Whoever came up with the idea for these brushes deserves a medal, such a good idea, I love them! Primark prices too, only £10, which is an absolute bargain I've seen them start at £25 online up to £100!!

As I said at the beginning of this post, there are so many more products in the range I haven't mentioned, so head out to your local Primark and check it out for yourself!

Anything Can Happen Friday | I Dyed My Hair..

I've been contemplating what to do with my hair for many months now. I thought about getting extensions, as I'm growing it out but, I decided instead of spending loads of money on hair extensions that I'd dye my hair to make it look a bit more interesting. As for choosing what colour to go, it was a no brainier! BLUE of course! This look is inspired by Hayley Williams and Halsey. To get this colour I bleached my hair with Live XXL lightener and Directions Turquoise semi-permanent hair colour. Let me know what you think of it down below in the comments! I've had lots of positive feedback already, I can't believe I didn't do it sooner.

Throwback Thursday | Square Hair Show

This time last year, I landed my first modelling gig, with Square hair salon in Falmouth, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to reflect on that experience and take a look back at my gorgeous hair. I had the fabulous stylist that is Tilly, at the salon and she put blonde highlights in my hair, then topped it off with a wella colour, it came out this lush rose gold color.

Not only was I used to test out the latest spring/summer wella colour but, Square actually put on an evening event showcasing 6 brand new looks. I represent a boho festival look, with my rose gold hair. The event was open to the public and I got to meet loads of new people through it, including my modelling agency representative Brad, from AMA. It was a really nerve wracking experience, I can take nice photo's but, to walk to a beat and stand and talk about my hair treatment, as silly as it sounds I was terrified I was going to trip up or fall flat on my face, luckily though I didn't and the event went really well, I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Anything Can Happen Friday | Festival Packing

As Boardmasters is fast approaching, I thought I'd do a post all about what I'll be packing and what festival essentials I'll be taking with me!

1. Sunscreen - This is an essential item to be carrying around with you anyway but, it's very important to take while going to a festival as the weather is always very unpredictable! The one I'll be taking is this Soliat one, which is tan activating and if you're anything like me and tend to burn in the sun try this out as it genuinely gives you a subtle tan without getting burnt!

2. Face Wipes - I'm that person that says never take your make-up off with face wipes as it's so bad for your skin but, at a festival these will become your best friend! They're easier and more lightweight to pack, as apposed to brining your normal cleansers, toners and make-up removers. They're quick an easy to wipe your make-up off, at the end of the day. If your going make-up free to a festival, then you can use these for quick hydration thought the day, to keep your skin feeling clean and loved!

3. Dry Shampoo - At a festival your lucky if you don't have to queue for a pot-a-loo, let alone a shower! So go a day without washing you hair and apply a little bit of dry shampoo, not only will it give your hair a refreshing lift but, it will add volume and a beautiful texturized look!

4. Tiny Perfume Sample - As a lot of festivals can be very restrictive on how many areoles you bring, ditch the impulse for a tiny perfume sample! Working at Superdrug I'm lucky enough to get sent these all time, the one that I'm packing is the brand new Stella McCartney: Pop.. I'm sure if you head down to your local Superdrug and ask nicely at the fragrance counter, they might have some free samples to give away for your festival packing's!

5. Metallic Transfer Tattoos - I love metallic tattoos! You can add them to any outfit to really give you that festival vibe! I personally like to place them on my hands and wrists with loads of jewellery, it gives a bold boho look that I just love.

6. Make-Up Palettes - I really struggled at packing my make-up for Boardmasters but, as I went through my palettes I found 3/4 that I could use everyday instead of having to bring separate powders, blushers, highlighters ect and it saved a lot of space in my bag too which was a massive bonus!

7. Potable Phone Charger - If your going to a festival for a weekend I highly recommend you look into getting a portable phone charger! This will be your life saver over the weekend to keep your phone topped up, so you can use it throughout the day to take pictures of your favourite bands and to stay in touch with your friends. You can get them for as cheap as £3 or splash out up to £40 for a higher battery life. It will be so worth it!

If your going to a festival or have already been to one this summer, let me know which ones and how you found it! As I said I'm off to Boardmasters this weekend and it will be my first camping experience and I have soo many mixed emotions about it, so wish me luck!

Throwback Thursday | Going Back To My Roots (I Got A Haircut)

When I was 16 I had a Frankie Bridge inspired pixie cut and I loved it! And since my undercut didn't exactly turn out how I wanted, I grew it to a length where I could get it cut in the style like I use to have it and now I honestly couldn't be happier! When I got it cut I felt more like me, there's really no other way I could explain it than that. Let me know in the comments what you think of my haircut and if you have your own signature hairstyle?
