What I Bought Wednesday | REVIEW | GOSH foundation and brush

Hello Beauties,

Welcome back to another beauty related post! I've currently been loving this BRAND NEW foundation by 'Gosh'. It's called foundation drops and I got mine in the shade 004. If you didn't already know 'Gosh' is an exclusive make-up brand for Superdrug (of course) and as a beauty specialist we got sent in some leaflets about this brand new foundation and after having a little read and finding out that it's meant to be a great dupe for the Dior foundation, I just HAD to try it out for myself!

This foundation is currently on special offer at only £9.99, usually retails at £12.99.

This foundation brush is also on a special offer at £6.99, usually retails at £9.99.

After using this foundation everyday for a week, I feel like I'm able to give a full honest review and you know what?! I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! This foundation contains argon oil and it sits on the skin smoothly and benefits the skin as it has a light formulation. It doesn't feel like your caked in make-up, it feels natural and light, with a satin finish. It's also fragrance free, oil free (perfect for those with spot prone skin), super blend able and it comes with a little pipet just to drops some foundation onto your face and honestly, when I saw the formulation I thought I was going to need to use loads of this, at a time to apply over my face but, a little bit goes a long way! The only downside I've found with this foundation is that it doesn't have a high coverage, so from now on I'll probably only use this when I'm having a good skin day, but I understand that this might not be for everyone.

Onto the foundation brush.. I picked this one because, it's super thick and I really like thick foundation brushes, so I can really buff and blend the foundation into my skin, as I find fair brushes are harder to blend in and end up leaving brush marks but, this one is great! The only downside I have is kinda stupid and that is, it has a really long handle? I guess, I dunno what else you'd call it? A stick? A holder? Basically it's too tall, compared to my other make-up brushes so it really pokes out, in my little pot I use to hold my make-up brushes. I know it would really annoy me, if I was the kind of girl that kept my brushes in a make-up bag, I think it would be the one that was too long to fit in.. rant over! It's a great brush!

Applying the foundation, to clean and freshly moisturised skin.

A close up of just the foundation on my skin, it gives a lovely natural, dewy look.

For those wondering, I then went onto completing my make-up look for the day, I went for a natural look, not using too much make-up, as I don't like to wear too much make-up on my days off, as it's the only time my skin gets to actually breathe.. here's what else I used today..

To find out more about the make-up brand GOSH, check out the website (http://www.superdrug.com/brandshop/gosh) or head to your local Superdrug and talk to their beauty specialist, as I'm sure they'd love to tell you, all about their new products and their must-have pieces from the brand!

Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
