Tunes Tuesday | Upcoming Artists | Andy Jordan

Hello Everyone,

I thought I'd take time today, to talk to you about an upcoming artist. As I'm sure you all know by now, I met Andy Jordan last month at a festival called 'Tunes In The Dunes' and I had heard some of his music beforehand but, I was truly blown away by his performance.

His set was about 45-60 minutes long and in that time he mostly played his own songs and he did do a couple of covers as well. One thing that really surprised me about his set was the reaction he had from the crowd, it was electric. I've had times were I've performed my own music to a crowd and you get the wondering eye from the audience as to whether they know the song and if they can sing along to it but, with Andy's set nobody cared if they knew the song, they just buzzed of his performance - and when I say performance, I mean the amount eye contact with the crowd, the amount of interaction with the crowd, the jokes within his band and his hilarious on stage dancing (sorry Andy).

Onto his music! Since 'Tunes In The Dunes', I've downloaded his Geography EP and got to know his music a little better. He's very folk/acoustic and he has such a powerful voice. If any of you have ever heard him singing on 'Made In Chelsea', well he's voice on the EP, is another level of amazing!

I also, really admire his song writing ability! One song I'm obsessed with, is called 'Flirty' and it's all about, when you meet someone you fancy in a bar and being flirty, kinda obvious really but, the song has everything you could want in a song, it's got a funny story, really good lyrics, a catchy tune (a lot of Ed Sheeran vibes) and a great person singing it. Another song which I really like is called 'Together', which is a song he wrote about growing up with his brothers and sister, it's really cute and funny.

This weekend, Andy Jordan is returning to Perranporth beach, to do a set of his own at the Watering Hole, which I'm soo excited about! I believe there are still a few tickets left, the earlybird tickets have completely sold out, so if you would like to go, get your tickets while you can!!!

Alrighty, thank you for reading!

Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
