Lovisa Jewellery

A few months back I discovered an adorable little jewellery shop called Lovisa. I first came across this shop at drake circus in Plymouth. I was drawn in with the rose gold charms and delicate necklaces, until I saw versions of the Taylor Swift snake rings in the 'LWYMMD' music video, from that moment on I was obsessed with this brand.

These snake rings start as little as £4 compared to the 'LWYMMD' ones which are £60.. bargain!

These are a few recent bits I bought from Lovisa. From left to right, I got a pair of rose gold hoop earrings, which I love! I feel naked if I leave the house without wearing a pair of hoop earrings. I got some cute rose gold studs with an outline of a cats ears and another pair of feather ones, simple for everyday wear. I've recently started learning more about crystals and when I saw they has a range of 'precious stones' I was so tempted. This necklace in particular is an Onyx crystal, which absorbs and transforms negative energy, to develop emotional and physical strength. Another pair of earrings (which is fading into the background of my chopping board!). A detailed leaf ring and to top it off, I recently had a photoshoot and I was looking for the perfect headband to go with an outfit and stumbled upon this one! The details on this are so beautiful.

A close up of the details on this headband

If this is your first time hearing of Lovisa I strongly suggest you take a look inside one of their stores or even given their Insta page a quick scroll, you'll be amazed at the amazing products they have, at such great prices too! @lovisajewellery

We Are The Lost Wolves x Boutique Of Molly | Short Dungarees #OOTD

I'm back with another collaboration with the website Boutique of Molly. I previously collabed with them after I bought their gorgeous embroidered playsuit, which you can check out by clicking here. This time around I've gone for a much more casual everyday look, with these short dungarees.

Retailing at only £25, I had to snap these dungarees up! As it's still a little bit cold outside, I paired my dungarees with a lightweight jumper, thermal tights and black chelsea boots. Super comfortable and cosy, for this in between stage between Winter/Spring. I love this outfit so much! An outfit like this will never go out of style!

Once again, I've had a blast working with BOM! To get your own pair of these dungarees click here. For limited time only you can get 15% off your first order by using the discount code HEYGAL and also receive free delivery when you spend £15 using the code FREEDEL!!

What are you waiting for head over to their website!

If any of you guys do have an questions or inquiries BOM are super responsive on their social media sites so don't hesitate to contact them, they're super helpful.

Style Saturday | What I Wore For My 21st Birthday

December 1st 2017, I turned 21 and to celebrate in style I partied at Vertigo in Truro. There were lots of things to organise and I can proudly say I did it all on my own. From decorations, to cake, to music playlists and guest lists but more importantly.. what was I going to wear? I headed to Plymouth to search high and low for the perfect outfit. I wanted something classy and sophisticated that screamed 21st! I have no idea how I managed it but the second shop I went in, I found the perfect dress. I discovered a shop called Quiz and they're shop was filled with gowns, party dresses and jumpsuits. After making it past all the sequins and glitter, sitting on a rack was this perfect navy blue dress..

This dress stood out to me because it was unique. I love the dipped hem line, as I was completely undecided as to whether I was going to wear a short dress or a maxi dress, which made this dress the perfect compromise. I love the shape of the dress and how it nips in at the waist and the skirt flows down and doesn't cling to the mid drift. I love the lace detailing on the bust, it has a subtle glitter thread running through it. I'm so happy that I found this dress, it was an emotional moment, like I'd just found my wedding dress or something! To go with this perfect dress, I wore my prom shoes, these were originally from Next. They're completely gorgeous, everything a girl could want in a shoe. They're a beautiful champagne gold glitter color and even though I didn't manage to photograph it but it matched perfectly with my bag that I wore. To finish the look off I wore my birthstone necklace with my mother got me for my 18th and my trusty Pandora bracelet.

I couldn't have done this blog post without posting this picture of me and my bestie! It's one of my favorite photos from that night! We all had a brilliant time, sipping on prosecco, eating crisps and busting out some Beyonce dance moves! *insert hair flick emoji here* Before the party I did a cheeky tour of my party venue, which you can check out now over on my YouTube channel

A Closer Look At My.. Autumn Lookbook

Last week I uploaded my Autumn Lookbook and I thought I'd talk you through my outfits and share with you some images from the shoot. My friend Jess Hill helped me to film the lookbook and she took some pretty awesome pictures for it too! We shot it in one day at Cardinham Woods here in Cornwall. Take a look..

Outfit 1

{Hat, Jumper, Jeans - New Look | Chelsea Boots - Primark | Necklace - Anna Saccone Zodiac Collection}

This was one of my favorite outfits to shoot! It was super comfortable and cosy to walk around and dance in. I did a post recently about my obsession with all things embroidery, so of course I had to include these jeans as their my favorite at the moment.

Outfit 2

{Crop Top - Topshop | Skirt, Tights & Chocker - Primark | Boots - New Look}

This outfit was a bit outside of my comfort zone. I've been feeling a little insecure about my body and this outfit is very body hugging (if you know what I mean) but, on the day I embraced that and my curves and I'm super happy with how these photo's came out.

Outfit 3

{Jumpsuit - Pre-Loved Boutique}

I am one with nature! If these shots don't scream autumn I don't know what will! This was one of my favorite outfits to shoot, not only because I was rolling around in leaves for half hour but, because I love this jumpsuit! I love how these photo's turned out it's giving me all kinds of snow white vibes... someday my prince will come!

Outfit 4

{T-Shirt & Beanie - Jam Industries | Jacket, Jeans & Chelsea Boots - Primark}

I filmed my lookbook to the song 'Flirty' by Andy Jordan, who I've spoken a few times about on my blog. He has his own clothing business called Jam Industries and as a way of saying thanks for using the song, I thought it only made sense that I included a few pieces from the Jam Industries collection. Which you can check out here - https://jam-industries.co.uk/

That's a wrap on my Autumn lookbook! I've started planning my next lookbook, in the comments below guess what it's going to be! *Hint it's not going to be seasonal. To check out my lookbook in all its glory click the picture below.. I hope you enjoy it!

We Are The Lost Wolves x Boutique Of Molly

A few months back I stumbled upon a little upcoming website called Boutique of Molly. I was absolutely thrilled to receive an email from them asking me to blog for them and after checking out their website it was a no brainier as they sell some really nice products! I will be stating my honest opinion below on the website, products, delivery, service ect and I will leave all links below so you guys can go and check it out for yourself.

Starting off the website is very easy to use and all the clothes are displayed on models so you get a really good feel of what they look like on. The prices are pretty standard to anything else you'd get on the highstreet, the playsuit I got was only £30 and I definitely think it was worth the money as the quality of the garment is excellent! The delivery was super fast, I got my 'pink parcel' the day after I ordered it. They also ship worldwide, so this post isn't just for my UK readers! The customer service was brilliant and fast response, I was unsure about the sizing so I just dropped them a message via the contacts page, they're also super responsive via social media i.e Facebook, Twitter ect, they were very helpful.

Like I said I ended up buying this gorgeous playsuit, embroidery is such a massive trend and doesn't seem to be budging (which I don't have a problem with), I love it so much! This playsuit is giving me all kinds of Halsey, hopeless fountain kingdom vibes which I'm all about, check it out below..

{Photo cred: Jess Hill who you can find on Instagram @jessiferhill}

I paired this playsuit with a pair of black slip on embroidered shoes, hoop earrings and a choker. I don't normally go for outfits that show any kind of midriff but, I felt really comfortable and confident while wearing this.

I've really enjoyed working for 'Boutique of Molly' and hopefully I'll continue to do so in the future! Head over to their website and check out what they have to offer - https://www.boutiqueofmolly.com/
Let me know in the comments what you thought of their website and what purchases you make, as I'd love to hear your thoughts. You can also head over to the 'Lookbook' section of my blog were you can find more pictures of me rocking this playsuit!

#OOTD Embroidery Everything!

For this weeks 'What I Bought Wednesday', I took a little trip to New Look to check out their annual summer sale and I found a few gems. One of the biggest trends this summer is embroidery and that applies to everything, jeans, jackets, tops, shoes, you name it! If it isn't embroidered, it's not being talked about in fashion right now. I picked up these dark grey, floral embroidered jeans. I got them in the petite department they're an ankle glazer style, they are the best fit for my height and they're a skinny fit and they fit perfectly like a glove. To bring out the grey/purpler embroidery on the jeans, I got this tie dye effect sleeveless top, which has grungy rips in the back. This is a great outfit for just throwing on for summer.. I love it!

To go with today's theme, I thought I'd talk a little about a few other embroidered bits that I've picked up in New Look recently. {Left picture} I got this gorgeous casual khaki shirt, the embroidered elements makes this shirt look super girly and playful. This is probably one of my favorite items of clothing that I own and that's not just because I met Tegan and Sara while wearing it. {Right picture} This jacket was one of the best finds on my shopping spree! This colorful embroidered leather jacket is to die for! You can add it to any outfit, to give it that extra pop.. love love love!

What I Bought Wednesday | H&M Suit

Since Christine and The Queens came to the music scene it's been my goal to find an affordable women's suit and that day has finally come! While on a Plymouth shopping trip I popped into H&M, and I found this gorgeous suit. When I saw it, I was expecting it to come to like £70 but, was pleasently suprised to see the blazer was only £24.99 and the trousers £17.99. They also had a 30% off sale when you spent over £30, so it was even cheaper again. I was absolutely thrilled.

The first time I wore my suit it was actually for fancy dress (which kinda defeats the object but, oh well). I was partaking in Cosplay Karaoke with the local LGBTQ bar and a youth group called Yay. I dressed up as Matt Smith from Doctor Who. I wore my suit and bought a bow tie and braces, let's not forget the fez too! A colleague of mine has a son who had a sonic screwdriver, so I borrowed that for special effect! As you can see the finished look is pictured above!

Style Saturday | Oscars Party OOTD

As we've just overcome the busiest award season, with the Oscars, The Brits and The Grammy's. I thought I'd show you ones of my Oscars party looks. We had a pre-Oscars party at our local LGBTQ bar in Truro, Deja Vu and this is what I wore..

{Dress - Zara | Shoes - New Look | Lipstick - Ariana Grande for Mac Viva Glam}

As you guys know I love to dress up! So when the Oscars party came around I was super excited! I found this perfect dress in Zara on Oxford Street, it was an absolute steal at only £10, must have been left over sale stock from Christmas, it was also the last one left in my size as well.. it must have been fate! The detailing on the dress is beautiful with sequins that when you rub one way is gold, and the other way is black, I liked wearing them with a mixture. I also forgot to take a picture of the back it had a gorgeous drape, exposing the back, with a little tie in the middle. I had such an amazing night at the party and am now looking for any excuse to do this look again!

Anything Can Happen Friday | *Preview* Vintage Life Magazine Photoshoot

As the launch of the May issue of Vintage Life Magazine is soon to be coming out, I thought I'd share with you a little sneak peak of whats to come. A few weeks back I was offered an amazing opportunity to do a photoshoot with Cornwall's finest photographer, Emma Griffin and of course I took the opportunity with both hands. I starred in the fashion editorial as a 1920's model, I was completely in my element. I was in love with everything from the make-up, to the hair, the clothes and the hats, I was completely mesmerized in my surroundings. It was such an amazing experience to be apart of, I'm so glad I got involved. As you guys know I suffer from anxiety so it's always good for me to take a step out of my comfort zone and say yes to things I'd normally turn down. I can't wait for the issue to come out and for you guys to see what we've been working on!
