Tunes Tuesday | Upcoming Artists | Daniel Pearson

Hello Everyone,

I've really been enjoying talking about upcoming artists and from my previous posts similar to this one, you guys seem to enjoy reading about them. So, I've been trolling the internet, searching for upcoming talent, that I'm passionate about and for ones that I think will do well in the future, I thought I'd just give them a little shoutout on my blog, to give them the publicity, that I believe they deserve. This week, I'll be talking about Daniel Pearson.

Daniel is a 33 year old musician, from Hull. He's got a very Country/Indie Rock vibe to his music, which I love!

I've been having a little listen on his soundcloud page (https://soundcloud.com/danielpearson) and have slowly started falling more and more in love with his music! If I hear one song from any artist, I'll know instantly if I'll like more songs by them and this was how it was when I first heard his music. I was amazed by his song writing ability, the grit and soulfulness in his voice and the production that goes into each one of his songs. The songs that stood out for me were... 'Medication', which has a very catchy chorus and a heart pounding beat. 'Wishing Well', his country tones really shine through in this song, with the beautiful melody on the chorus and the storytelling lyrics. 'As Deep As Love', is a very relatable song, about being in love and trying to not give up on that love but, in the end the cracks begin to show and people drift apart and I really like the meataphor of 'nothing cuts as deep as love', it's like saying that heartbreak, can leaves a physical scar like a cut.

I've yet to see Daniel play live but, if he ever does a show in Cornwall/Devon, then I'm totally there, as I've heard lots of amazing things about his performances!

Also, if you didn't already know, he's released two albums so far called 'Satellite' and 'Mercury State' and Daniel, is set to release his third album 'Alone Together' on August 21st, so if you've liked what you've seen and heard then, I recommend you check that out!
