I thought today I'd talk about a campaign, which has recently caught my eye. The use your 'and' campaign. This campaign encourages women to use their 'and', instead of having to define themselves to being one thing. For example...
'I am a daughter and a granddaughter, I'm a cousin and a friend, I'm a Blogger and a YouTuber, I'm a singer and a songwriter'
Why should I have to define myself or be put into a category, when I am more than one things? Well, the use your 'and' campaign encourages women, to share their 'and' story under the hashtag #UseYourAnd - This campaign sets out to break down the gender-based barriers, to create an equal society.
