Throwback Thursday | Elsa Day 2016

This time 1 year ago me and my work colleagues showed up in force to celebrate Christmas jumper day. I however, thought this was the perfect opportunity to fulfill one of my life long dreams and dress up like queen Elsa from Frozen.

I had the most wonderful day spreading Disney and Christmas cheer! I unfortunately didn't continue the tradition again this year but, I have been planning something similar to this for the new year. I can't wait to share it with you all!

Throwback Thursday | 1 Year Since My First T&S Concert!!

This time 1 year ago, I traveled to Camden in London all my myself to watch Tegan & Sara perform at KOKO. I was 19 years old, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life so far. It's so weird to think that this was one year ago, it felt like yesterday. It's also scary to think that this time a year ago London seemed pretty safe and accessible but, now in recent times its sad to see London filled with such terror and fear, my heart goes out to London.

The first time I saw Tegan and Sara perform, was definitely one of the stand out memories for me because, back then I was pretty conflicted with who I was and looking back on it now and thinking about how I was feeling and thinking back then and how things have changed to now and the person I am today, it's just incredible. Going from someone who didn't know who she was or what she stood for to being this much more 'together woman', don't get me wrong I'm still young and figuring out who I am and where I'm going but, this past year I've learnt a lot more about myself and I honestly don't think I could have done this before seeing and meeting Tegan and Sara. They're truly inspirational and everything they stand for is just amazing. They recently started their own charity called the 'Tegan and Sara Foundation' which supports girls and women in the LGBTQ community. In my own experience in the LGBTQ community I've always found it to by very male orientated and with the start up of their new organisation, it's helping to give a voice to women in the LGBTQ community which is very important. Throwback Thursday | Square Hair Show

This time last year, I landed my first modelling gig, with Square hair salon in Falmouth, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to reflect on that experience and take a look back at my gorgeous hair. I had the fabulous stylist that is Tilly, at the salon and she put blonde highlights in my hair, then topped it off with a wella colour, it came out this lush rose gold color.

Not only was I used to test out the latest spring/summer wella colour but, Square actually put on an evening event showcasing 6 brand new looks. I represent a boho festival look, with my rose gold hair. The event was open to the public and I got to meet loads of new people through it, including my modelling agency representative Brad, from AMA. It was a really nerve wracking experience, I can take nice photo's but, to walk to a beat and stand and talk about my hair treatment, as silly as it sounds I was terrified I was going to trip up or fall flat on my face, luckily though I didn't and the event went really well, I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Throwback Thursday | My First Radio Show!

As you may know by now on top of my blog and YouTube channel, I now have my own radio show! It's on Source fm, which is a local radio station to the Falmouth/Penryn area, you can also listen online and it's every Saturday 4-5.30. It's appropriately named 'The Lost Wolf Show' and the main themes/topics are mental health, music, lifestyle and what's trending online. I recently uploaded a vlog all about my first show, from the exciting times, the nervous laugh, to the awkward silences. I think it's safe to say that my first show didn't turn out how I'd expected but, since that day each show has gotten easier and I'm feeling much more confident and much more natural, on air. Take a look at what goes on behind the scenes on my first radio show..

Throwback Thursday | Turning 20

December 1st 2016, was the day that I left my teens and turned 20! It's still weird to say out loud, 19 was such a good year but, it has now come to an end.

I celebrated my birthday in style with one of my best friends Claire, as her birthday was the day before mine we thought we'd have a joint party. We threw the ultimate birthday bash at Deja Vu in Truro, we had an unlimited amount of prosecco, some awesome decs,a few too many rounds of 'never have I ever' and the best music with all the classic's from JLO's 'Big Booty' to Hannah Montanna 'Best of Both Worlds'. It was truly fabulous!

Leading up to the most possibly best birthday party ever.. I went for a meal and a catch up with my family and I spent an evening with Adams family (haha), followed by a lovely trip to St Ives. I spent my 19th birthday at St Ives and I pretty much fell in love with the place even more which is why I went back again for my 20th. Adam and I went round town and had a look in the shops, we went and hung out in the arcade and took some really cute pics in the photobooth and then as always we went for a meal in pizza express. It was lovely!

I was absolutely spoilt for my birthday! I got a brand new vlogging camera from my mummy and daddy, so you know what that means, loads more vlogs to come! I got a lightbox, a mermaid blanket and an engraved rose gold bracelet from my beautiful boyfriend Adam. I had loads of lovely presents from the rest of my friends and family too, I had vouchers, jewelry, money and an adorable Olaf ornament.. chuffed I was!

Throwback Thursday | Cornwall Pride 2016

To top off my summer of 2016, the last weekend in August was Cornwall Pride! I attended the event with my boyfriend and a group of friends which grew as the day went on. I enjoyed the lead up to pride, there was glitter to buy, outfits to organise and face paint designs to try out... not to mention booze and nibbles were essential!

When the day finally arrived, we were rushing around in the morning sorting everyone's make-up out, I gave Adam a glitter beard to match with my starry face! I don't know how I manged it, but myself and my friend (babe) Claire manged to end up in the parade, on the Deja Vu float dancing! It was the best fun ever! Going through town dancing on a float, waving at strangers, posing for pictures while belting out 'This Boy Is On Bottom'.

The parade led to an afternoon in Victoria Gardens. There were stalls and entertainment. We all met up, laid blankets on the grass and had a little picnic, while watching the musicians play. #goodvibes

We then went back to Adam and Martins for afternoon naps, nibbles and hair and make-up prep for the evening. My hair went from pink in the day, to a sassy blue in the evening.. I like to think I was channeling my inner Halsey!

We then headed to the marquee for the evening entertainment, hosted by the fabulous Roxie Moron! Who throughout the evening performed a mixture of songs, from Cabaret to Sia, which of course came along with multiple outfit changes! As for the rest of the evening.. mostly drinking.. dancing.. having an amazing time! We went from there to Deja Vu. I met a sweet girl who was waving like mad at Claire and I during the parade, we took pictures and hung out was lovely to meet more people from the lgbtq community in Cornwall. Basically, the best day! It even felt a little bit like Christmas, especially the lead up!

The morning after we all met for brunch to go over the antics from the night before! Adam couldn't remember a thing! I don't remember seeing him during the evening as I was making loads of new friends. Adams house mate Martin had to escort us home.. which involved Adam having a nervous breakdown as the walk home was just too much.. and me running ahead waving at cars and asking them to take me to church.. which did have a story behind! So I was waving at cars as it felt weird not waving at strangers after the parade and asking them to take me to church as 'A Little Twisted' performed the song earlier in the night.. I'm not crazy I promise! Overall, it was a brilliant weekend apart from the hungover the day after! Same time, next year then?!

Throwback Thursday | Going Back To My Roots (I Got A Haircut)

When I was 16 I had a Frankie Bridge inspired pixie cut and I loved it! And since my undercut didn't exactly turn out how I wanted, I grew it to a length where I could get it cut in the style like I use to have it and now I honestly couldn't be happier! When I got it cut I felt more like me, there's really no other way I could explain it than that. Let me know in the comments what you think of my haircut and if you have your own signature hairstyle?

Throwback Thursday | 'Tunes In The Dunes' 2015

As the 2016 Tunes In The Dunes event slowly approaches this weekend, I thought I'd reflect on the event last year..

I had the best time ever! I went with my friend Nicole and we went on the Sunday and saw the likes of Andy Jordan and Tom Odell. We were luckily right at the front so we had the best view of the bands and artists playing. I vlogged the whole thing so you can check that out, below on my channel. Sadly I won't be attending the event this year :( but, to anyone that's going I hope you have an amazing time!

Throwback Thursday | Scamp as a Kitten!

I was going through some old files and came across some cute pictures of Scamp when he was a little kitten! For those of you that didn't already know Scamp is my cat and was given to me from my auntie, who's cats had kittens and I begged my mum for weeks to let me have one and she said yes, as long as I looked after it and bought all of his food, jabs ect. I saved up for ages! Every penny at the time went on my cat and I wouldn't of had it any other way! I love my boy soo much it's so strange to think he's 6 years old! He's tiny in some of these pics..

{right hand side} Weeks after being born!

Less than a year old, still so cute and tiny!

Here's Scamp today! Wow, how much has he grown!

He even featured in my 2016 Calendar.. soo cute!

Throwback Thursday | This Time Last Year

Happy Throwback Thursday! Today I'm throwing back to what I was up to this time last year and that was the filming of my Spring Lookbook! You guys know my favourite type of videos to film are lookbooks, I love getting all dressed up, picking filming dates and locations. It's so much fun! A lot of planning and editing goes into making these lookbooks and I think it's so worth it! To me the outcome always looks amazing and I always get so excited to press that publish button and share them with the world! It's a little bit of fun, I don't take them too seriously but, I do love picking my outfits and showing what I've been loving for that season.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sc7qg9DupEk

Looking back on the lookbook and the photo's I took to go along with them is insane! My hair is so much shorter (kinda miss that) and my fashion taste is changing all the time, so looking at my outfits, there's a couple in there I probably wouldn't wear now but, doesn't mean I regret it. I do love how this lookbook turned out and if you're new here and haven't seen it, check it out by clicking here.

Throwback Thursday | My First Instagram

You guys must know me well enough by now ;) And if you do then, you will know I LOVE Instagram! It's by far my favourite social media outlet and as I love taking photo's, it's just perfect for me! So this 'Throwback Thursday', I thought I'd throwback to my very first picture I ever uploaded to Instagram! And no it's not cake or your typical selfie..

My first Instagram was uploaded 33 weeks ago with the caption, 'There must be something in the water..', which was of course inspired by the Carrie Underwood song, which has an awful lot of meaning to me, it's basically about the feeling when you have that silver lining, after a lot of hoping and praying, you finally become this changed better person and free from negativity, like there's nothing holding you back. Which is a very deep way to start off my time on Instagram, I guess. Anyway I just wanted to share this with you. The picture was taken last year, when I went to visit Loe Beach, which holds a lot of fond memories for me and my childhood. Nicole and I took a road trip down there, to take some photo's for a project I was doing and I loved this image so, of course straight to Instagram it went!

Throwback Thursday | Does Anyone Know When I Was Christened?

There's been a long running 'joke' in our family over the day I was Christened. It started when I asked my parents when I was Christened and they couldn't remember. So whenever anyone says a date or shares a memory, I usually come out with 'Well you can remember that, but you can't remember the day I was Christened'. Brilliant! It's so weird that, no one can 100% remember what the date was. It's been narrowed down to July 1997 but, the actual date is still unknown. Whenever I look back on photo's from my Christening it just all looks so weird, my entire family was in one room, just for me! It's very rare that something like that ever happens! I hope that one day in the future we can all come back together like that again.

Throwback Thursday | Old School Selfies

While I was transferring files from my old laptop to my new one, I came across some pictures of me in my early teens (aka the awkward stage). These pictures are also the only ones I can find of me with long hair! Shocker, we're throwing back to a previous 'hair moment' because I still can't figure out what to do with my hair.. such a surprise there! It's weird looking back on photo's like these, not only do I look different but my surroundings do too, am I the only one that is focused on the Zac Efron poster on my door? The pink and purple walls? With matching carpet and rug? Wow, just wow.

Throwback Thursday | Who Do You Think Created The Kylie Jenner Pout?

Hello Everyone!

I recently came across an old USB stick with some hilarious selfies on it, from when I think I just joined Facebook and it was back then, that your profile picture had to be 'on point' and change like twice a week to stay current and here's one of the picture that I thought I was so cool in and I thought I looked pretty 'on point'...

*Insert cry laughing emoji here* Looking back on this I can't help but think 2 things. First thing, who do you think created the Kylie Jenner pout? Obviously, it was me! Second thing, wow this picture is so blurry and my camera phone is totally lacking on focus. Third thing (thought I'd throw in an extra for fun), do you remember when it was cool to do a peace sign in photo's.. still kinda do to be honest!

Thanks for reading! Tag me in your #ThrowbackThursday's on Instagram (@iamthelostwolf), I'd love to see them, so we can all cringe together!

Throwback Thursday | My 18th

Hello Everyone!

As my birthday week continues (yes, I did just say birthday week), I thought I'd throwback to my 18th, much like my 19th it went in a flash!

I didn't really do much for my 18th, I went for a meal at pizza express with my friends and work colleagues, we had an amazing time. Then a few of us went out for drinks after, as it was my 18th after all, got to stick to traditions and that. It was a lovely evening but, as my work schedule was really busy I didn't have the chance to relax or have time to myself, which would have been nice looking back but oh well!

Thanks For Reading!

Throwback Thursday | Halloween

Hello Beauties,

So.. as I've been away from blogging, I never got a chance to talk you through what I did for Halloween. Now, I LOVE HALLOWEEN, I just really like getting all of my friends together and watch horror movies on repeat and eat as much junk food as we like, it's brill! Not only did I get to spend time with my friends in the evening but, we also celebrated Halloween in work. As this was my first Halloween working in Superdrug I thought I'd play it safe and this is what I ended up looking like..

I decided to play it safe and rock a mask, with a slight smokey eye and this picture doesn't really do it justice but I also crimped my hair, like seriously old school crimped, it looked really cool!

Here I am with a few of my work colleagues and as you can see they were a little more brave than me and they did look pretty cool! We were also fundraising for our charity Marie Curie (don't worry I'm not just some weirdo holding a charity box), so it was all for a good cause and anyone that liked out outfits/make-up were asked to make a donation I'm not too sure how much we raised but, overall it was a really good day!

Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
