Motivational Monday | Strong Independent Woman
Where are all of my strong independent woman at? Because this one is for you! Earlier this year I went through a tough break up and apart of that process, I experienced loneliness for the first time in my adult life. I was so scared about being alone and it brought out all of my own insecurities. After days sobbing and adjusting to what life is like being by myself, I got this overwhelming feeling of empowerment. I realized that being by myself didn't mean I was alone. I realized that loving a man didn't make me any more of a woman. I took a time out to check in with myself and develop into becoming the woman I am today.
Goal: Do something that gives you a feeling of empowerment. It could be anything like, taking yourself out to dinner, belting out your favorite songs in the shower, going to the gym or for a long run or walk, get dressed up and spend time with friends.. or even skinny dipping! Absolutely anything! Always remember your a strong independent woman who don't need no man (or woman) for nothing!

Motivational Monday | Learn How To Respond
Am I over reacting? A phrase I've used multiple times. Reactions can be dangerous, look at chemistry for example if you mix vinegar and baking soda, you'll get an eruption. I'll admit it there have been times in my life, when I've gone in guns blazing and reacted instead of actually having time to process what's going on and choose my words carefully before responding. This can apply to anything for example, a disagreement you've had with a colleague, a fight you've had with a partner or an ex, or a piece of gossip that is going around school because we all know the haters gunna hate. My point is everything in life happens for a reason and it's all about how we respond to those situations, to how we learn and grow into the people we are today.

Motivational Monday | Be Your Own Hero
I recently watched the new Wonder Woman film, which inspired today's blog post. It was one of the most badass films I've ever seen in my life! I genuinely walked out of the cinema feeling somewhat more empowered, like I could literally go out and achieve anything I wanted to do in life. I think this film came out at the most perfect time, in a world full of wannabe Kardashians be a Wonder Woman! If you want a film with a badass female superhero, feminist af and bow and arrow fight scene's, then you need to go and check it out!
Goal: Asking people for help is great but, next time you feel you need to ask for help for a task, whether that's making a decision or being independent, just do it. Just say yes, think to yourself I'm a strong independent woman you can do this.

Motivational Monday | Beautiful In Our Own Way
The internet is amazing but, sometimes it can be hurtful. Body-shaming is becoming more popular by the day, I have absolutely no idea why. Why do people think it's acceptable to call out others on parts of their body, that they might not personally like? And why do we put ourselves against other women? We're all beautiful in our own way and we shouldn't feel the need to look at photo's of other girls/or guys and say 'oh, they're thinner than me' or 'she has bigger boobs than me', like the quote says "admire someone else's beauty, instead of questioning your own".
Goal: The next time you find yourself admiring the way someone else looks, pick out 3 things that you like about yourself, instead of focusing on what qualities the other person has.

Motivational Monday | Independent Woman
If any of you are feeling a little down in the dumps, let this quote give you the confidence boost you need. Whatever you may face in life, always remember that one person you can count on in is yourself, yes it's great to lean on or get support from loved ones but, you have the power and the courage to get up and face whatever the day may bring you all by yourself. #IndependantWoman
Goal: If this quote isn't quite the confidence boost you need, then why not go out and treat yourself to a new outfit. It's amazing how much a new outfit, or a freshly cut haircut can change your outlook on yourself.

Motivational Monday | Oh Hey There, 2017
Hello Everyone!
I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas, I'd like to start this post by wishing you a happy new year, bit late I know! Where the hell did 2016 go? It went by in a whosh! I'll be taking time to reflect on 2016 in my 'Anything Can Happen Friday' post later on this week but, for now let's talk all things 2017, what's to come and my new years resolutions!
My 2017 plans so far are new and exciting and I'm not going to hide it and say 'you'll just have to wait and see', your getting the inside scoop! On Saturday, I announced the start date for my upcoming radio show in partnership with Source.fm and 'The Lost Wolf Show' is launching Saturday 21st January, 4-5.30, which I'm super excited for and I hope you'll all tune in to have a listen.
This week I was offered to do a photo shoot with the fabulous Emma Griffin for Vintage Life Magazine. I'll be starring as a 1920's girl which is pretty lucky, as the NYE party I went to was a 'Gangsta's and Moll's' theme I went as a great Gatsby girl, so I already have the dress! I've been a fan of Emma's for a while, I first met her a few years back at a Magpie and Fox party and thought she was incredibly talented! So watch this space!
In 4 weeks today Adam and I are going away to London! I kinda tricked him at first by saying, lets go to London for our first Valentines together and he thought I was being sweet by asking him to come away with me, but little did he know that I had other intentions.. the only reason why I asked was because Tegan and Sara are playing the Roundhouse February 13th and yes we're going!! I managed to compromise with him, and we are also going to Harry Potter Studios, so that will keep him happy. I honestly can't wait to go back to London, you guys know just how much I love it there.
As for what's to come March on wards I have a few idea's but I'll save that topic for another post. I did a lot of reflecting over New Years as, to what I want to do with the next year and what I'd like to achieve both personally and within my career, here are some thoughts..
-I'd like to learn French (bit random, I know), after a recent discovery of Christine and The Queens, I just want to learn French so I can understand and sing along to her songs. I guess it would also come in handy for when I finally go to Disneyland Paris!
-This year I want to do more arts and crafts. When I was in school I was so passionate about textiles and my fashion designs and this year I'm taking it upon myself to do more of that. I also want to start scrap booking and writing down the memories that I'm making now, so when I'm older I can look back on them.
-When I was 16 I started writing my own songs, so I have 4 years of unused songs just sitting around in my notebooks, this year I want to either sell some of them or release a few for myself! Who knows? Just another thought.
-Is this going to be the year that I finally move out? I hope so! I think I made it my resolution last year to move out but, the timing wasn't right and neither was the right property for me.
Here's your first 2017 quote and goal..
Goal: I'm going to make this not only your quote for the week, but your quote for the year. I know some people think new years resolutions are stupid and pointless but, I think it's great to make a list of goals and things you want to do and achieve in the upcoming year. Which is why I'm making that your goal, let me know in the comments what you come up with!

Motivational Monday | Not Going Back To My Old Ways
When times get tough we often fall back into old habits to try and resolve our problems, but sometimes it can end up creating new ones and causing a lot more hassle. Which is why we must try and avoid 'going back to our old ways', as once said in a Demi Lovato song.
Goal: Whenever you catch yourself off guard or doing something you think you might regret, take a minute to think and re-evaluate just exactly what your doing and then write down what your thinking or feeling, how and what would be the outcome of your actions. Think before you do and avoid old habits, your stronger than this.

Motivational Monday | Everyday Is An Opportunity
Today's quote will also be your goal for the week. This quote was inspired after watching Ingrid Nilsen 'Coming Out: One Year Later' video in which she talks about her own person evolution. The person that you are today, will be different to the person that you are tomorrow. Everyday we have to opportunity to grow and better ourselves, so why not take that chance with both hands and give it a go! It can be the smallest change, like buying a new T-Shirt and throwing an old one out, as for me clothes give me confidence and will make me feel great the next day when I wear them or it can be something bigger, if there's been something on your mind for a while, grab a coffee with your best mate and talk it through, you'll be one step closer to bettering yourself for tomorrow. Have a great week!

Motivational Monday | Be Kind To One Another
Ellen DeGeneres is one of my idols and one way she ends her talk show is by saying 'be kind to one another'. She never fails to inspire me and motivate me, whenever I watch her show it brings me so much joy and happiness to my life and I'm so glad that the #getellyonthetelly campaign worked at that I can watch the show here in the UK, as often as I like. I think the phrase 'be kind to one another' is so uplifting and empowering, the smallest thing that you can do for another person is fantastic and it's a great message to spread and pass onto the next generation.Goal: Go out of your way to do something kind for someone else. It can be anything big or small, it can be for a family member, a friend, or a work colleague. Let me know how you get on in the comments!

Motivational Monday | Beauty In Everything
There's good, bad and ugly in everyone and everything but, the things we always overlook is the beauty. We spend to much time criticising people on their physical appearance and putting others down because they may appear to be 'different'. We need to find the beauty in everything and start celebrating the things that make us unique.
Goal: Your goal of the week is to go up to someone and give them a compliment. It can be anything little or small, from their looks, personality, to an act they've demonstrated. For example, when I'm in work and serving a customer on the till, sometimes the customer will clear out their purse and put their spare coins into one of our charity boxes, a perfect time for me to compliment them by saying "Thank you for your generosity, you're very kind" - Little stuff like that can change someone's day and will motivate them to go away and continue to spread positivity. You'd be amazed how small of an act, can make such an impact.

Motivational Monday | What Makes You Feel Infinite
This is one of my favourite quotes, taken from one of my favourite books, 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' by Stephen Chbosky. The moments that take our breath away, the moments we feel infinite and like nothing in the world can stop us. It's an amazing feeling to have but, sometimes we don't always feel that way. With everyday struggles and pressure from society, we'll sometimes lose that spark of what makes us feel infinite but, don't let go. Life is not about how many breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away, we must never forget that.
Goal: Take time this week to look at where your at, if you feel under any pressure or stress from work, school or uni, don't let those feelings build up. Do something reckless, breath taking and something that makes you feel infinite.

Motivational Monday | You Can Do It
A lot of the time I sit around waiting for things to happen, instead of actually going out there and doing it. Trust me, doing it and working hard for your achievements is so much more rewarding, than just having things handed to you. However, I'm not saying that it will be easy achieving your goals, it may take some time, a lot of struggle and dedication, but if you put your mind to it, you can do it! Don't be afraid of falling along the way, it will only make you stronger and it will make your goal even more worth it. Always remember, 'can't' is a bad word!
Goal: Take sometime to think about what you want. It can be anything big or small. Make a list of how you can achieve your goal and start putting it to action. Also, let me know in the comments what your goals are! Have a great week!

Moivational Monday | Be The Bigger Person
{Source: http://24.media.tumblr.com/f0adfeaf81017c65b4a37a8450e19e14/tumblr_n0htb6VwGI1rc2ub3o1_250.jpg}
Sometimes things just don't go the way, you may would have liked them, to go. The majority of the time it's already out of our control and what you do next and how you react to it, is what makes you who you are. For example, if you react in a negative way hurting yourself or others, then that moment will define you and you might regret it. However, if you turn the other check, be the bigger person and react in a positive way, then it just goes to show how much strength you really have.
Goal: Whatever this week throws at you, always remember to be the bigger person and stay strong.

Motivational Monday | Positive Outcomes Only
Happy Monday Everyone! I thought I'd start today off with a positive note from Roald Dahl. I think this quote is very uplifting and a great one to start off your week. Take this as motivation to start the week with an open and positive mind. I hope you all have managed to re-charge and re-fresh over the weekend, well it's time to wake up and get things done and get out there!
Goal: Make a list of a couple of things you'd like to accomplish this week and go out there and do it, because you can. The world is your oyster. Make everyday count.

Motivational Monday | Make Mistakes, Learn, Change
Change is good. I know that sometimes change may seem to be a bother, bad and or a little bit scary but, you need to remember that change is a step close to a improved version of yourself. In some cases, overtime change can prove to be tricky or not turn out how you expected and to be honest I think that's better as, you learn from mistakes and move on to bigger and better changes.
Goal: Share an experience of a time were change didn't turn out how you expected and share what you learnt and how you have/can change for the better.

Motivational Monday l Celebrate Every Moment
In the spirit of my birthday week, today I'm going to be talking about celebration. Now, in my 19 years (tomorrow) of life I've experienced a lot and with that I have learnt a lot along the way to. Life is a learning curve but, you need to celebrate the bad times as much as the good, because it's helped to shape you to the person you are now. So, while I'm out celebrating my 19th birthday I will reflect on the year I've had and I will celebrate and learn from it to make my 19th year the best it can be.
Goal: Even if it's not your birthday reflect on the year you've had and put what you've learnt into practise.

Motivational Monday | Creativity Never Dies
As you guys might already know, my blog recently turned 1 (yay), so I wanted to do a post on celebrating creativity and to inspire you guys to reach your full potential and to well, be creative! When I started my blog 1 year ago I did it because, I love writing, my writing originally started off with writing songs, poems, short stories and from that it just grew and grew, I wanted to write about things that interest me fashion, beauty, music ect. When I started my blog I didn't expect it to be as 'successful' as it is now, my most popular post has been viewed by over 50,000 people and that's insane to me! I don't even know that many people! I love how my blog has helped me to connect with you guys and I love the fact that this is my space, I can talk about whatever I want and just knowing that someone out there, is reading and (hopefully) enjoying my blog, that's all that I ever wanted. I wanted this to be a blog for us 'The Lost Wolves' if you like. A blog were we can say what we want and someone somewhere will hear us.
Being creative and starting this blog has helped me overcome some personal struggles too. A couple of years ago I never thought I would be open, with my battles of depression and anxiety and even though I've only briefly touched upon the subject on here, it's still a massive stepping stone for me. For me to be able to share my story and speak out, it's kind of a big deal as that has been one of my major struggles. Now I can say what I want, share what I want and being able to connect with you guys and hear your stories, its beautiful what a great little community we're creating.
Goal: Be creative. Do something that scares you. Step outside of your comfort zone. Don't be afraid to fail. Whatever you do that enables you to be creative do more of that, do what makes you happy and remember...Creativity Never Dies.

Motivational Monday | Changing
We all have the tendency to pick at ourselves, whether that's our image, our personality, or our own insecurities. This quote implies that you are your own competition and in order to 'win' you need to be the best version of yourself, if you don't like what you see in the mirror then you have the power to change that, you and only YOU, no one else should influence what you might want to change about yourself! Obviously within reason, and at the end of the day if changing parts of you makes you a happier and healthier person, then I'm happy for you!
Goal: Look in the mirror.. What do you see? Are you happy? If your not find a healthy way to change that.
Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,

Motivational Monday | Learning Curve
I really like this quote as, it just goes to show that sometimes the decisions you make in the moment, can sometimes not go to plan and sometimes they do. For the times were something doesn't go quite how you expected you'll end up learning from those mistakes and will help you grow as a person and it's ok to make mistakes, you're only human.
Goal: This week take a situation were things have ended badly or not how you expected and try to interpret that into a learning curve and how you can prevent that from happening again.

Motivational Monday | Fight The Fear
Ok.. So, I'm sure at some point in our lives, we have been afraid of something and this can be anything big or small, from spiders to heights but the key is, to not let it control your life. I know in some situations fear can become quite controlling but, surround yourself with good, positive thinking and supportive people and hopefully they'll help keep you grounded and help to make you feel safe.
Goal: Not really a weekly goal but, a life lesson in general.. Don't let fear control you and if you feel like it's getting a bit much, just talk about it and I promise you'll feel so much better after talking about it and just keep telling yourself every feeling is temporary, don't let it fester and don't let the fear 'decide your fate'.
Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
