Anything Can Happen Friday | My 2016 Goals


Ok, no need to ramble on about this. I do love a good list and I felt this year I should set myself some goals both personal and professional and if I can achieve at least 3 things + on this list then I will be very happy!

1. Get Fit ~ Now I know, I know, I said this last year and I made a pretty good start at the beginning of the year and then by the end I felt like 'getting fit' meant buying workout clothes, which it totally doesn't but, I thought this year I'd try and do something different to get fit. For example, I've always been interested in learning self defence, this would be one way to get fit. I also really like yoga and pilates (despite my limited flexibility) but whenever I've done it, I felt pretty good afterwards, so might give that a go.

2. Move Out ~ Sorry mum, sorry dad but, I think it's about time I fleeted the nest. Myself and Nicole have been talking about moving out for a while and it's something that is both terrifying but, soo fricking exciting!! I also really love homeware so, just being able to decorate and go shopping for all of our little bits and pieces for our flat, the thought just gets me all pumped up and like I want to do it now!

3. Get A New Camera ~ So, I can upload better quality video's to my channel and I'm also thinking of maybe doing a photography class. Don't know when, where, or how but, photography has always been something that interests me and from what I can tell, the pictures that I take are pretty good and well, what can I say my Instagram is on point! @iamthelostwolf

4. Film A Music Video ~ Now last September I shared with the world my audio of Heart Shaped Box, which is a song I recorded for a charity CD a few years back. I love the song soo much and planned on filming and realising a music video for it last December but, due to life and schedules I didn't have time to film it, so this year I'm making it my mission to get this done!

5. Read More ~ I find the only times I read, is usually when I'm travelling and even though I know I have a few little travels coming up in the upcoming months, I want to read more in general and throughout the rest of the year. One way that I think will encourage me to do this, is to maybe hold a monthly book club on my blog, where I talk about what I've read and what I liked about it ect and then you guys can send me your suggestions on what to read next and what you've been reading that month. Let me know your thoughts on this in the comments.

6. Take Off My Make-Up Before Bed ~ The last few months my skin has been really bad and I think that not taking my make-up off before bed is pretty damaging on my skin. Now, I'm not saying I never take my make-up off, it's just when you've come home from a long day a work, I just don't have the energy to do my full night time skin care routine, the majority of the time I end up reaching for the face wipes, which isn't great for the skin. So this year I'm going to try really hard to take care of my skin and so far it's been going really well. I can't wait to share with you the products I've been using recently.

7. Write More ~ Write more blog posts.. write more songs.. write more.. of my.. book? Enough said really ;)

8. Be The Best That I Can Be ~ Now I'm not going to do the typical "new year, new me" but, I want 2016 to push me, so I can grow and develop to be the best person that I can possibly be. For example, I want to give back to my community, so I've been thinking of getting involved in more charity events. I want to spend more time at the beach, I feel like being the sea really relaxes me and it gives me a chance to clear my head and think about where I am and where I want to go.
