I promised you this blog post just over a week ago and today, I'm going to be showing you what I bought during fashion week! Now, not gunna lie, I didn't manage to attend a few of the events near the end of the week *sad face*, so instead, I thought I'd talk to you about a trend I currently love and that's all things Khaki. I also, thought I'd talk to you about boutique in Truro, called Magpie & Fox and a little sneak peak into their 'Truro Trend' event. Let's go!
Here's what I'm going to be talking about in the 'Khaki Kraze' section of this post but first, let's talk about Magpie & Fox!
Magpie & Fox is a womenswear boutique in Truro. They offer French inspired clothing, with lots of different high end brands from, Parka London, Hudson, Baum and Pftergarten, Pyrus, Becksonergaard and many other brands.
I ended up making just the one purchase, and that's this beautiful khaki jacket! It's by a brand called Marie Sixtine. This jacket is very young and edgy but, the textures are soft and quilted, which is perfect for Autumn/Winter! I also love the metallic detailing over the Khaki, it softens the jacket, adds a bit of edge and it's something fresh and unexpected.
As, I've said before in a previous post, this was my first visit to Magpie & Fox and I was very impressed! It's such a beautiful space filled with some beautiful products. Here's a little insight to their boutique and their 'Truro Trend' event...
I'm obsessed with these Olivia Burton watches, definitely adding one of these to my Christmas list!

It was soo lovely to meet the girls behind Magpie & Fox and get a little insight into their brands and their personal shopping experience. They throw regular parties in the boutique, so check them out on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, to keep update for their next party, definitely a must-see event!
Ok, so onto my khaki obsession! I've been loving all things khaki and a trend that I have been loving recently is khaki eye shadows.
So I went out about bought these singular, Revlon eyeshadows, which you can connect together to make your own pallet. I got them in the colours, 'Sand', 'Coca' and 'Khaki', I think these colours work really well together and they work for any occasion!
I also, went out and bought the new Sally Hanson gel nail polish, in the shade '280, Camo Queen', which is a kind of dusky khaki colour, it's unexpected and I think this will work really well in Autumn! The great thing about the new Sally Hanson range is that, the colours are supposed to last up to 2 weeks! Which excites me a lot, as working in retail and using your hands a lot, it's lucky if your nail polish lasts up to 1 week, let alone 2, so I can't wait to give it a try and see just how good this is! To top this look off, I thought I'd add my trusty Rimmel 107 lipstick, I think this deep red works really well, with khaki and that's why I included this!

And here they are including the jacket, how amazing do these look together! I can't wait to wear this out, with maybe just a plain white blouse, black jeans and black heels, so chic and effortless, with a slight edge and Autumnal feel!
