Tunes Tuesday | The Band Perry

Helllooo Everyone!

Today, I'm going to be talking about... well, you might have guessed it? THE BAND PERRY!!! I've been obsessed with this band for about 3-4 years now, I can't really remember how I found out about them, I just remember listening to 'Done' and needing to hear more of their songs.

If you didn't already know, The Band Perry is a Country trio, made up of siblings from Alabama. We have the feisty and brilliant Kimberley who is and outstanding singer and performer. Alongside her, her brothers Reid and Neil. Reid is the bass guitarist and Neil can pretty much do anything. Together they just form this amazing trio of pure Country/Rock.

 

They're most know song is probably 'If I Die Young', which went to number 1 in the charts in America and is probably one of the most touching songs I've ever heard, filled with truth, romance, beauty and love. It was also featured on Glee 'The Quarterback', the tribute episode to Cory Monteith.

I have soo many favourite songs of theirs and it would definitely be too hard just to pick one, so here's some of my fave's: 'Hip To My Heart' an upbeat sassy number all about flirting, love and a lot of laughs. 'Back To Me Without You' a personal message, about the difficulties moving on from a long term relationship. 'I'm a Keeper' (no not a zoo keeper), a song about being quirky, independent, unique, just about being yourself while dating and/or being in a relationship.
