Hello Everyone,
There's been a challenge going around Facebook, in which you need to share your top 10 albums, which got me thinking. So, today I'm going to share my thoughts with you my top 10 albums!
No. 10
Newton Faulkner ~ Write It On Your Skin
Such an amazing album! I think sometimes people forget how amazing Newotn Faulkner is as an artist, until your in the shops and 'Dream Catch Me' comes on but, not me! I've been a massive fan of his for a few years now, I love his lyrics, I love how he plays the guitar he really makes the most of all the sounds a guitar can make and I just love him, them dreadlocks are beautiful!
No.9
Lana Del Rey ~ Born To Die
As you guys probably know by now, I'm obsessed with Lana! And I couldn't pick my favourite LDR album so I went with the one, that made me fall in love with her. There are some classic LDR songs on her first album like, 'Born To Die', 'Summertime Sadness' and 'Video Games'. Absolutely amazing and if you don't already have this album, then I suggest you think about getting it!
No. 8
Foo Fighters ~ Greatest Hits
Again, I couldn't pick my favourite, so I went with the easy option and chose their greatest hits album! Whenever I listen to the album it just reminds me of being in school, my friend and I were obsessed with Foo Fighters and well, we still are! Such a great album with some great hits (wow, Megan great way to describe a greatest hits album).
No. 7
The Pretty Reckless ~ Light Me Up
Whenever I listen to this album, I feel like a badass! I just want to put on some heels and punch anyone of my ex-boyfriends! It's great! I love Taylor Momsen's voice, it has this real, raw, edgy tone to it and her original songs are amazing, especially considering when she wrote this album, she was only 16!
No. 6
P!nk ~ Greatest Hits... So Far!!!
Let's be honest, who doesn't love Pink?! Her songs are so relatable and extremely honest. I also, love Pink as a performer, I've seen a few clips of her in concert and it's amazing the amount of things she can do while singing, she is a proper performer and that's what makes her an amazing artist!
No. 5
Fall Out Boy ~ Save Rock And Roll
This was the first Fall Out Boy album I ever purchased and I now love ever single song on this record! At first I was intrigued as I saw their music videos and I thought it was such a great idea to make their whole album based on a concept or a story and I thought the videos we very creative and they definitely weren't boring as they grabbed your attention, to the point when you don't want to look at anything else!
No.4
Foxes ~ Glorious
It's no secret that I love Foxes and I am hopefully going to see her perform live next month! I love her music, her lyrics, her voice and her style. She is so unique in everything that she does and I can't wait for her next album! Glorious, is definitely one that you should check out!
No.3
Sia ~ 1000 Forms of Fear
As you guys know, I've been raving about Sia recently! She is such an incredible artist and I love the way she performs, it's very intercut, moving and powerful. This album is full of all her recent hits including 'Chandelier', 'Elastic Heart', 'Big Girls Cry' and 'Fire Meet Gasoline'. She is such an amazing songwriter and her music is very relatable.
No.2
Tegan and Sara ~ Heartthrob
I first discovered Tegan and Sara on an episode of 90210 and I'm so glad I did! This is the perfect heartbreak and heartthrob album, you could either be so in love, with songs like 'Closer' or heartbroken, to songs like 'Now I'm All Messed Up'. It's an intense album, with mixed emotions and I love every bit of this record!
No.1
Carrie Underwood ~ Blown Away
Carrie Underwood, was the first Country music star that I fell in love with! Her voice is flawless and her lyrics tell a story, which makes her music very relatable. This album has many of her greatest hits like, 'Blown Away', 'Last Name', 'Good Girl', 'Two Black Cadillacs' and 'See You Again', if you didn't recognise any of those songs, then you seriously need to change that and head on over to YouTube! Overall, this album is incredible!
I hope you enjoyed this little insight to my top 10 albums, honestly getting this list down to only 10, was a struggle! Let me know yours down in the comments!
Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
